Snókagjá
The Þingvellir plain is bordered by two ravine systems.
They were build while the eurasian continental plate and
the american continental plate drift away from each other.
The right wall of these ravine (here called Snókagjá
which leads into Almannagjá) belongs to the American
part. At this place Iceland grows 2cm each year.
