Iceland 1996, 1998 and 2001

The photographs on these pages were taken on three journeys to Iceland.

The newest images from my journey in Winter 2003 are available now.

I selected my favourite slides to burn on Kodak Photo CDs. These Photo CD data were prepared for the web using the pcd2html system which I wrote for this purpose. These pages could serve as an example for potentional pcd2html users. All following pages (including this page) and the corresponding German pages were an unchanged result from this pcd2html data set which could be used as blueprint for your own pcd2html data set. I'm very interested in any comments according to this script system.
The pages are represented in English and German. Because I had not enough time to comment all images in both languages I recommend to read the English pages. Only very view German translations are done but each picture as a (very) short description. Informations about any photographic techniques are given on both pages if available.
The comments to the images will be extended step by step after some time which will cause less effort using pcd2html. Moreover I would like you to consider these pages as a "draft copy", that means the text was hacked quickly and hopefully there are not so many misspellings or flaws of English language.
A clickable map as I prepared for the images of summer 1996 will be added hopefully soon. Such maps can be created using paul.
