Snæfellsjökull
When we arrived on September 22, 1998 at Keflavík airport
we had seen the Snæfellsjökull in a distance of 100 km
which is only possible if is very clean air. So we decided to
go to the Snæfellsness paninsula to visit this famous mountain
(you can step down from there to the inner of the earth after
Jules Vernes book "Travel to the middle of the earth"). But the
next days were very cloudy and so this view from the ship was the
only ony and the leak in the clouds stayed only for ten minutes.
